For the past 13th years, the Jazzowa Jesien Festival in Bielsko-Baiła has grown in popularity.
The festival, which starts Sunday, 8 November, has been widely acclaimed for its diverse mix of jazz.
The artistic director, Tomasz Stańko, and his daughter and agent, Annna Stańko, talked with Kamila Kudelska about organizing the festival.
The renowned Polish jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader who has won many prestigious awards in his long career also speaks about his perception of jazz trhoughout the years.
"This process is kind of pretty similar, like my process of composition [of] music," said Tomasz Stańko. "I use my knowledge as a musician, as a composer to just imporvise, in time, [a] programme for the festival."
