Poland’s relationship with the Baltic states the most important for security of Eastern Europe.
The Baltic States are not the next target for Russia stressed the president of Estonia, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, at a debate held by the daily Rzeczpospolita and the Centre of European Policy Analysis.
President IIves accentuated the relationship between Poland and the Baltic States but specifically with Estonia is especially important for the security of the region.
“Poland is the one, key country for East European security,” said President Ilves.
“When I was elected as President, one of my main foreign policy goals is that we really get tight relations with Poland. For us, the Estonian-Polish relationship is one of the most important we have.”
