This past Friday, Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States.

Throughout his campaign President Trump's policies and promises towards the European Union and NATO have left questions on the future international relations between the United States, the European Union and Poland.
Piotr Wilczek, the Polish Ambassador to Washington DC told Radio Poland's Kamila Kudelska that "it is good that the United States will have a better relationship with Russia. We hope it won't be at our cost and at the cost of Ukraine especially. But United States and Russia are global empires. They have to talk, and I think it's good until it doesn't harm their allies, the allies of the United States."
