Polish member of parliaments have overwhelmingly voted in favor of changes to the Constitutional Tribunal.

Critics say if the legislation is passed in senate, the proposed provisions will paralyze the Tribunal making it almost impossible to reach any decision on controversial issues.
“These type of resolutions can paralyze the Constitutional Tribunal,” said a representative of the Public Prosecutor General.
“This means the tribunal will not be able to fulfill its’ standard obligation in which the constitution requires of it.”
