In 2016, a record high number of journalists around the world ended up in jail – just for doing their jobs.

That’s according to the Committee to Protect Journalists. Of the more than 250 journalists in jail worldwide, more than half are in Turkey.

With a new administration in Washington, Turkish journalism experts are warning Americans about what can happen in the future under President Trump.
